As a member of the enTune team, I handle the daily essential tasks that keep our clients’ businesses running smoothly, from matching transactions and processing payroll to submitting sales tax and managing month-end closings. This work matters deeply to me because I understand the heavy workload business owners face; I thrive on ensuring their finances are clean and understandable so they can clearly see where their business stands and plan for the future. I want my clients to feel they can fully trust me, knowing their books are in good hands and that I am staying on top of every transaction. To me, “maximizing what matters” means going above and beyond by staying current with my professional education and ensuring that the people I serve feel truly appreciated through the quality of my work.
When I’m not focused on client work, you can find me enjoying time with my children, grandchildren, and the rest of my family, often traveling to visit loved ones. For my personal well-being, I find joy in walking outside and practicing yoga, but the beach is truly my happy place—though I confess I also adore the snow and cold weather during the winter months. My passion for accounting and taxes began 26 years ago when my husband started his own business, and since then, I have been dedicated to continuously expanding my education and knowledge in the field. Fun fact: I moved from Massachusetts to North Carolina when I was 15 and met my future husband on the school bus; we now have two daughters. To power through my day, my essential fuel is a strong dark roast coffee. I also have two beloved miniature dachshunds, Dabo (male) and Leah (female), who act as my adorable, four-legged co-workers.
